Accommodation
This south facing architect designed property has beautiful views on three sides and enjoys a protected position elevated above the ‘arroyo’ (riverbed) below, inviting cool breezes in the summer and a warm sun-trapped position in the winter months and the rest of the year.
The property is arranged on the 2 upper floors of a 3-storey house
First Floor
A flight of stairs leads to the entrance on a small sunny veranda and entry into east-facing kitchen area furnished and equipped to a high standard with Bosch oven and curved cooking hob and breakfast bar with stools. Adjacent is a spacious south facing open-plan living room with wide sliding doors (which slide right out of sight if desired) onto balcony overlooking the beautiful view and orchards below. There is a dining area with table and 6 chairs, a Satellite tv, and a seating area made up of a sofabed ( size 2.04m x 1.40m). Room has very effective wood burning stove for the cooler winter months that also directs heat to rear rooms and upstairs.
The rear bedroom over looking the village square and fountain has two single beds (2'6"x 6'3") - one stored under the other that can be arranged as two singles or with a centre section into a double 5' bed. It has a small toilet/shower room adjacent and wardrobe and chest of drawers.

Second floor
Upstairs from the kitchen is a family bathroom with bath/shower, basin, bidet and toilet. The main space is taken up by a large room with glorious views on three sides, with doors onto a large south-facing terrace, overlooking the riverbed below. This high, timber-beamed room is large enough to be a flexible living space and has a comfortable double bed ( 5'x 6'3") made up of two single mattresses zipped together. These can also be used separately to form two smaller single beds. There is also a sofabed (1.80mx 1.20m) and a a cupboard for hanging clothes. The room can be used as an alternative living area and also has a tv with dvd.
There is generally a gentle breeze coming up from the river bed which means that the house is naturally cooled and does not get too hot in the summer.
Ground floor
Below is another apartment which may be available to use at the same time as the one above. It has one bedroom with a double bed and a sofa bed in the living area as well as a small kitchen/dining area and bathroom, and follows a similar layout to the above apartment.
Below the ground floor
There is a little outside covered area where the shared washing machine is sited and access to a cellar. The land to the left of the steep footpath below (the two old grape drying beds, 'toldos', including the olive tree), belongs to the house and can be used although at present it is not cultivated or landscaped.
